Not mockups, not invented metrics. Here's what the actual problem was, and how it got fixed.
The problem
Inherited an AngularJS codebase with no CSS system, global styles, no component architecture, and a UI library (Kendo UI) that wasn't built for this level of customisation. Scaling was impossible without a full rewrite.
What I did
Led the migration from AngularJS to Angular 16+, rebuilding the entire CSS architecture from scratch. Implemented a component-based system, customised Kendo UI and Highcharts to match design requirements, built a mobile-first responsive system, and handled accessibility across 80+ dynamic data components with variable content."
The problem
A large Typo3 project with accumulated CSS issues, visual inconsistencies, styles breaking across templates, and no room for slow or risky changes. They needed someone who could read unfamiliar code fast and fix without breaking anything else.
What I did
Rapid CSS intervention across existing templates, targeted fixes that resolved visual issues without introducing new ones or disrupting the established design system. No refactor, no risk, just clean, precise corrections under tight deadlines.
The problem
A WordPress site partially migrated to plain CSS by a previous developer,left with a mix of Bootstrap and unstructured styles, no theming system, and a codebase nobody wanted to continue. The original WordPress design had to be preserved exactly.
What I did
Built a complete CSS architecture using custom properties for theming and design tokens. Structured the codebase so every component owns its CSS, compiled into a single build file. Replaced the Bootstrap/WordPress hybrid with a clean, maintainable vanilla CSS system, no framework dependency, full design fidelity. Optimisation ongoing.
The problem
An online multiplayer card game needing a cohesive visual system across complex UI states,login, modals, carousels, game rooms, leagues, and tournaments. Rich thematic design with a forest aesthetic that had to hold across all components.
What I did
Built and styled the complete frontend UI,login page, modal system, carousel, and game interface components. Maintained visual consistency across a themed design system with custom imagery and decorative elements throughout.
